Tinubu returns to Nigeria

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has returned to Nigeria today after spending some weeks out of the country in the United States of America and the United Kingdom.
Tinubu was reported to have undergone a surgery on a nagging knee problems which doctors said needed urgent medical attention.

He described his surgery in Chicago, United States as “very successful.”
His long absence has, however, attracted rumours of a more serious ailment which was said to have kept him incapacitated and unable to perfotm his functions as the de facto leader of the now defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).
Plans of a reception full of pomp by his party members and close associates were reportedly shelved as a mark of respect to honour the victims of the ill-fated Associated Airlines crash which happened in Lagos on Thursday.
